Add Components to Your Store

To add mouldings and mats to your online store, you need to activate them individually. We recommend to activate a limited number of items to avoid customer confusion and keep things simple and easy to navigate. Adding only the items that you stock may also be a good idea for quick delivery. Go to "Web store" under the settings menu.

Now select the type of component you wish to add and click on the appropriate button. In this tutorial, we will add an exterior moulding.

The items already activated are displayed on this page and may be modified or removed. To add a new item, click the "Add Mouldings" button at the bottom right of the page.

Start by typing a few digits of the item code you want to add, the system will propose the available items. If the item you want is not in the database yet, you would need to add it first (see our Add Mouldings & Add Mats tutorials). Please note that item numbers normally start with the first letter of their manufacturer (e.g. Larson Juhl 362927 = L362927).

Once the item code is selected, you can enter a custom display name, an optional sort value, confirm the moulding style, and add optional extra images such as profile pictures. When all the info has been entered, click the "Save" button and you are done! The new component is now be offered in your store.
